Summer of Consciousness
7-day retreat for facilitators, by facilitators
A week to slow down. To set aside what you have been carrying for others. To receive, be inspired, and explore what is alive within you alongside fellow facilitators. Each person’s experience, gifts, curiosity, and presence contribute to the journey we create together. If you feel inspired to offer a workshop, session, teaching, or other contribution, you are warmly invited to mention this during registration.

What makes Summer of Consciousness different?
Unlike many facilitator retreats that follow a fixed curriculum, Summer of Consciousness is intentionally designed as a living co-creation.
Participants are invited to contribute from their unique gifts and experience. This may take the form of workshops, embodiment practices, voice liberation sessions, creative explorations, movement journeys, artistic expression, contemplative practices, or other offerings that support conscious growth and connection.
At the same time, participants are invited to step out of the role of facilitator and into the role of participant to receive, to be surprised, to be inspired, and to deepen their own journey.
While the week unfolds organically, it is not without direction.
The Able team provides gentle guidance to weave the various contributions into a meaningful collective journey. Rather than imposing a rigid program, we create enough structure to support coherence while leaving ample space for spontaneity, emergence, and authentic collaboration.
The intention is to create a shared arc, a living journey that unfolds through the wisdom, creativity, and presence of everyone who gathers.
Every Summer of Consciousness is therefore unique. No two editions are the same, because the community itself becomes part of the curriculum.

Return to your humanity
As facilitators, coaches, therapists, artists, healers, and space holders, we spend much of our lives supporting the growth and transformation of others. Over time, it can become easy to identify with the role of guide, teacher, healer, or space holder. Yet beneath every role is a human being. A human being with questions, blind spots, vulnerabilities, dreams, fears, and an ever-unfolding inner landscape.
Summer of Consciousness is an invitation to return to that humanity. Not because something is wrong. Not because you need fixing. But because the depth of our work with others is inseparable from the depth of our willingness to keep meeting ourselves. Here, facilitators are invited to receive as much as they offer. To be witnessed as much as they witness. To explore as much as they guide. This is not only an act of self-care. It is an act of integrity. Because the work of a facilitator begins with the work they are willing to do within themselves.
Summer of Consciousness offers a space to reset, recharge, and remember. To reconnect with curiosity, humility, presence, joy, and the simple experience of being human.
Hosting a workshop or session
We have intentionally left space in the program for you to offer a workshop or session. If you would like to contribute, please mention this during your registration so we can explore how to integrate your offering into the retreat program. Please note that any workshop or session offered needs to align with the retreat’s intention, atmosphere, and overall flow. We will do our best to explore how your contribution can be integrated.
